It was a way of protesting against the dozens of cold-blood murders of refugees in Ceuta and Melilla by Spanish border police and Morocan police officers. Similar actions have taken place these days in many cities of Europe by solidarity groups and the antiracist movement.

The activists covered the EU office front with black cloths, put a barbed wire around-symbol of Fortress-Europe, gave informative material to the people passing by the square, wrote down and cried out slogans against the brutality of the european immigration policy, demanding asylum for all the refugees, since for us "no life is illegal".

About 40 people took part in the action; they handed out proclamation leaflets (see linked article below). The event ended after about one hour, without any problems with the police (although the entrance of the police department was right next door).
